But sadly for Lydia Rose Bright, her creamy complexion proved her downfall yesterday in Dubai.
The blonde suffered some fairly severe sunburn- which was especially evident when she moved her bikini bottoms, showing the stark contrast with the colour of her skin underneath.
No doubt within a few days the burn will cool off and Lydia will be left with a flattering natural tan.
Ironically, Lydia's deep blue bikini would have really suited a golden hue.
The star showed off her rather rosy behind as she took a seaside shower.
Lydia looked pretty without make-up- an almost unheard-of occurrence for her- and it must have been a relief to take a dip without worrying about the dreaded panda eye when her mascara ran.
She was spotted applying suncream to her stomach on a sun lounger at one point, but clearly not as thoroughly as necessary.
Despite her sunburn woes Lydia was clearly sad to leave Dubai.
She posted on her Twitter page: 'Best holiday of my life crying inside right now can't believe its over I love Dubai ♥'
And Lydia tweeted on her journey home: 'Boarding my flight :( Goodbye my private butler, floor to ceiling windows, sea view, four bathroom apartment I will miss you @GrosvenorHouse'.

However she wasn't off as quickly as she had imagined, and she added: 'Sitting in Dubai airport flight delayed 12 hours.

The blonde recently showed off her creamy complexion posing in a series of ragdoll poses in a shoot for Now Magazine.
And in the accompanying interview, Lydia told Now that she is moving on after splitting from her ex-boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent.

She said: 'People come up to me in the street saying, "We want you to get back with Arg," but at the moment it’s "never ever". I wouldn’t want to put myself back into the position where I could be miserable again.
'I’d never ever turn around to anyone and say he doesn’t love me because I know he loves me so, so much. I love him as well but it’s a different love now.'
Lydia added that the reason the pair split was nothing to do with Arg's change in appearance or drastic weight loss, but down to his change in personality.

She said: 'It was never about his looks. When we met, he was 18st with a skinhead and I fell in love with him for who he was.
'We broke up because his personality changed – going behind my back and the cheating allegations. I would’ve preferred him to stay the size he was but just be the same person I fell in love with.'
And Lydia also told Now about how she feels about her appearance, and what she would do to change it.

She added: 'I’ve had my teeth whitened because a white smile makes such a big difference and I’ve had my eyebrows tattooed. I do have stretchmarks on my bum but when I look in the mirror there’s nothing that makes me unhappy.
'Every now and then with an outfit I might think, "Oh, stick a chicken fillet in!" but when I think of my body icons, such as Olivia Palermo, none of them has big boobs. If I suddenly have these huge boobs on me, I’d topple over, wouldn’t I?'
