Agnieszka Radwanska left the choking until she was off court after ending Poland’s 75-year wait for a Wimbledon singles finalist.
The former girls champion took just 69 minutes to record a 6-3, 6-4 victory over German Angelique Kerber.

Agnieszka Radwanska reached the first grand slam semi-final of her career as she saw off the challenge of Russian Maria Kirilenko in a late-night finish at Wimbledon.
Despite her mediocre history in the majors, third seed Radwanska can replace Maria Sharapova as world No 1 if she wins at Wimbledon.
She was tied at 4-4 in the deciding set with Kirilenko when play was halted on Court One due to rain.

When she finally did to make it 5-1, the roof, which had been left open, felt as if it had been lifted off.
Whether Radwanska was consumed by nerves in her first Grand Slam final, or whether the respiratory complaint she had contracted in the damp conditions, was responsible, she was nevertheless outclassed and lost the first set 6-1.
The rain then fell, the players went off for 22 minutes and when they returned, the contest changed.

Taking to the stage in New Jersey last night for the first time since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy, it appeared her time out for motherhood hasn't affected her stage presence.
Showing off her post-baby curves in a showgirl-style, fringed bralet and tiny shorts, the 30-year-old wowed the sold-out crowd on the first of a three-night stint at the Revel Resort & Casino in Atlantic City.
