Gisele Bundchen displayed “tiny bikini” a painful-looking in Malibu photoshoot

She famously lectured other mothers about the perils of not breastfeeding your child, and accused  women who gain too much weight during pregnancy of treating their bodies like garbage disposals.

But Gisele Bundchen apparently isn't so holier-than-thou when it comes to being sun safe.

The supermodel, who was raised in sizzling Brazil, appeared to have been a little sloppy with her sun cream application during a day-long photoshoot on the beach in Malibu this week.

The 31-year-old was sporting a red patchy burn on her chest and stomach as she posed for a jewellery campaign in the sunshine.

Her tiny bikini top exposed the painful-looking raw skin, which appeared to be close to where her long layered necklaces were placed in the previous shot's outfit.

Perhaps the glittering jewels attracted the UV rays to her skin more, resulting in the uneven colouring.

Gisele wore faded and ripped jeans with her beige crochet bikini, and posed with a beautiful black horse which she walked with along the shoreline.

Her unbelievably flat stomach was on display as she cavorted on the sand, every move captured by famed photographer Peter Lindbergh.

She sported her trademark tumbling caramel-hued curls and wore stacks of silver bangles from the collection, by designer David Yurman.

In the previous set-up, the former Victoria's Secret Angel wore a black wetsuit undone to the waist, and dripping in gold and silver chains.

She kneeled in the sand and stared down the camera as the wind blew her long hair around her shoulders.

Earlier in the week, Peter Lindbergh released some behind-the-scenes images from the photoshoot.

The candid shots are a taster of the undoubtedly stunning campaign to come.

In black and white snaps, Gisele is shown dancing in front of the lens with the sea as a backdrop.

In another image, she is seen in wearing a denim jacket, resting her chin on her hand, showing off several bracelets around her wrist and rings on her finger.

Shortly after the shoot, Gisele boarded a flight to NYC to prepare for her date with Brady at the Met Ball.

The busy model has won new contrast with Versace, Givenchy, the Bank of Brazil and Salvatore Ferragamo in 2012 alone.
