So the pressure was on Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire when it came to portraying the lead roles in The Great Gatsby.

Now, a first look at the chemistry between DiCaprio and Mulligan can be seen in an official trailer for the upcoming movie, which includes a steamy sex scene.

DiCaprio plays the elusive Jay Gatsby, while Mulligan stars as his love interest Daisy Buchanan.

And Tobey Maguire takes on the role of Daisy’s cousin Nick Carraway, from whose perspective the story is told.

Fans of the film’s director Baz Luhrmann, who has reunited with DiCaprio 17 years after Romeo + Juliet, will not be disappointed as his signature artistic style is evident in the teaser trailer.
