Sofia Vergara’s purple bikini on the Caribbean island of Anguilla

Sofia Vergara isn't wasting time and wallowing over her split with boyfriend of two years, Nick Loeb.

The 39-year-old Modern Family star has headed to the Caribbean island of Anguilla with girlfriends where she is apparently 'flirting up a storm. '

The Columbian posted some videos of her holiday on her Whosay account, and she is certainly looking sensational.

Posing in a purple bikini top and tiny string bottoms, the comedy star would turn any head with her almost cartoon-like 'Jessica Rabbit' figure.

'Sofia looked like she was having a blast with her friends and got really flirty with some of the staff at the resort,' an eyewitness told RadarOnline.com.

'She was on vacation with a group of close friends and said that she was using the escape as a way to reclaim her bachelorette status. Obviously the staff had to keep it professional, but you could tell she was getting a kick out of making them blush.'

Sofia stayed at a private suite in the luxurious Viceroy Anguilla, and was joined by her teenage son, too.

'She didn't seem too heartbroken about her breakup with Nick,' the source said.

'Sofia was a hit at the resort drawing attention everywhere she went. A tropical getaway was just what Sofia needed to regroup and recover her independence.'

After the split, Sofia's 19-year-old son, Manolo, put together a video in her honour, combining home movies with his own sweet opinion as to what his famous mother is really like.

And it seems to have done wonders for her confidence.

Sofia was minus Loeb at the annual New York Met Gala, where she is said to have confided in friends about her love split.

According to Page Six, the Columbian star had been fighting with her boyfriend a lot recently.

A source told the publication: 'Sofia was confiding in friends at the ball that she and Nick have split.

'They have been fighting a lot recently and have been on the brink of splitting many times.
'It is not yet clear if they are over for good, but they are done as a couple for now.'

And it appears that Sofia might just be happy with the situation, if this idyllic, happy break is anything to go by.
